1966 BATMOBILE REPLICA CAR BATMAN TV SHOW Desktop Wallpapers

Mark Racop, is in the business of making 1966 Batmobile Replica Cars.

I gotta tell you that these cars are pretty amazing! I mean, the attention to every single tiny detail is totally insane! Well, recently, he posted a few hi-res desktop wallpapers of the cars he makes.

I thought I would share a few here ( there are many more at his website ) & also give a shout out to his website.

It's called FIBERGLASS FREAKS & if you're a fan of the 1966 Batman TV Show ( Adam West & Burt Ward ) then you gotta check it out!

BATMAN'S ARCH ENEMY THE JOKER - Wacky Wallpaper

The Bat-Blog posts 2 brand-new Batman Desktop Wallpapers every single Wednesday. It's a proud tradition & recently we have been getting a lot of Bat-Blog Readers sending us this material which is even better because besides making some extremely cool stuff it also creates some nice variety. Both of these are a perfect example. The 1st one was made by a friend named "Bacon" who used some graphics from the new graphic novel book titled THE JOKER. It was written by Brian Azzarello & has turned into a bestseller. The artwork ( used here ) was done by Lee Bermejo. His work is really amazing, a very talented guy. The 2nd background was sent to us by a girl named Danica. She took this photo of one of the Joker Bank Robber Goon Action Figures she has. Of course this is the character from the Dark Knight movie. It kinda cracks me up that Ironman ( from the movie ) makes an appearance. I wanna thank both Bacon & Danica for sending these in, they're really wonderful...good job! Oh yeah, for anybody looking for this JOKER Graphic Novel Book, please click on our button here to buy it from Amazon. We don't get much but every little bit helps keep this site going, thanks.

BATMAN Desktop Backgrounds

The Bat-Blog is famous for it's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" event that happens, you guessed it, every Wednesday! Ha Ha, this week I thought I would try to mix it up a little bit & have 3 wallpapers ( we usually post 2 ) because I'm all crazy like that. Plus, I wanted to mix it up another way & have them all be radically different...or as different as possible but still keep them all Batman-related, whew! So, HERE...WE...GO! The 1st one uses an amazing piece of "Heath Ledger The Dark Knight Joker" artwork that was submitted by a reader named DC Miller. His work is incredible & I knew it had to be presented as a wallpaper. In order to place the image on the right-hand side I had to flip it but it looks great! ( Thanks DC for sending the art ). The 2nd one is a photo of Adam West from the cover of the March 11th, 1966 Issue of LIFE Magazine. This image is totally iconic...a masterpiece! The last one uses what is probably the most recent version of Batman & that's the character from the new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD cartoon. Please be sure to let me know which one you like the best plus please send a link to all your friends or talk about it on some message board

Photos Cosplay Batman Fans

A good friend to the Bat-Blog, named Neville, sent us some extremely cool photos yesterday. He wrote, "I have one more picture from last year's Polaris Convention to send to you: it's a picture of Nightwing, the Riddler, and Robin, all looking quite intense. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, here's another one of Catwoman too!" Ha Ha, AWESOME!! Thank you Neville. I really love these Comic Book Fans who dress up when they go to comicons. Seriously, it's very cool how creative they are. All of these costumes look really really great...good job! I think a lot of people who were at that show really appreciated these characters. Plus, I think a lot of readers are gonna really love that Catwoman pic...MEOW!! If any other readers have ANY kind of Batman-related photos to share then please send them in, we always love that!

action figure collections Mattel is putting out include a new three pack of Gotham Knight Batman

Other action figure collections Mattel is putting out include a new three pack of Gotham Knight Batman including the Caped Crusader taking on Scarecrow and based on the DC direct to DVD anime Movie.

There’s also a Gotham based Justice League collection which includes villains such as Bane, Harley Quinn,
and yet another Scarecrow; as well as several animated Justice League heroes and Batman: Brave and the Bold (which is based on yet another animated Batman series to hit the cable nets in January).

Mattel has created a new round of DC comics super hero action figures

Mattel has created a new round of DC comics super hero action figures that kids are sure to love … especially if they’re into comics.

The figures include: Wonder Woman, Hawk Wingman, Gordon in Swat gear, Sinestro, Atom (classic costume), Blue and Gray Batman (old school), Crisis/70’s Supergirl, Black and Silver Superman Prime, Alex Luthor.

While no one will probably care about Alex Luthor or even have a clue who “Omac” is, the old school Detective comics Batman and classic Wonder Woman make this a pretty cool collection of figs to consider.

And even the disco 70s Supergirl is rather kitchy and could appeal to girls who don’t particularly want Barbie as a role model.
